Visitors flock to Rim Moei market for cheap winter clothes

The Rim Moei border town is now flocked with visitors looking for cheap winter clothes to keep them warm as temperature continues to fall, signaling the arrival of the cold season and the start of the tourism season for this border market.
Local authorities in Tak said that temperature at the Thai-Myanmar border town dropped gradually , apparently the daily appearance of thick morning fogs  covering  the town indicating the arrival of the cold season.
Stall and footpath vendors began to display winter clothes and other commodities to attract visitors to Rim Moei market which was located at the foot of  the Thai-Myanmar Friendship bridge in Mae Sot district.
Most winter clothes were imported from China as they were cheap and attracted more customers than the second-hand winter clothes from Korea.
Whole-sellers from Bangkok and other cities preferred to buy the Chinese imports in big lot to resell than buying second hand clothes from Talad Rongklua near the Thai-Cambodian border because of cheaper price and they were brand new goods.
