The 2nd EAST ASIA SUMMIT (EAS) FOREIGN MINISTERS’ MEETING

The 2nd East Asia Summit (EAS) Foreign Ministers’ Meeting to be held at Peace Palace, Phnom Penh, Cambodia, on 12 July 2012. The meeting to be chaired by H.E. Hor Namhong, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Kingdom of Cambodia.

The meeting will be attended by the Foreign Ministers from eighteen EAS participating countries namely Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, China, Japan, Republic of Korea, United State of America, Russia, Australia, New Zealand and India. 
  
The EAS Foreign Ministers will crucially focus on reviewing and future direction of the EAS cooperation and the preparation for the 7th East Asia Summit (EAS) to be held in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, on 20 November 2012. Furthermore, the Foreign Ministers will also discuss about the exchange views on regional and international issues.
